As General Counsel of Equity Management Group, Inc., Kelly serves as the company’s chief legal advisor, providing counsel on all aspects of its commercial real estate portfolio, including property management, acquisitions, development, leasing, and financing. In this position since November 2005, she has overseen the company’s legal affairs during a period of strategic growth and expansion of the company.
Prior to this role, Kelly was a founding partner of a firm providing real estate legal services. She was a law clerk for the Honorable Judge Gary Payne at the Fayette Circuit Court, Lexington, Kentucky until 1996. Kelly is a graduate of Vanderbilt University (BA, Political Science) and the University of Kentucky College of Law. She is a member of the Kentucky Bar Association, Commercial Property Association of Lexington and ICSC.
When not at the office, Kelly and her husband, Bryan, enjoy traveling and exploring new destinations, but also frequently travel to visit their two daughters. Kelly enjoys the arts, from theater to music and movies, and supports several local arts organizations.
